**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Perform a variety of internal checks in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System standards.
- Perform sampling and water activity testing on finished products.
- Inspect work in process to ensure quality specifications, SOP’s and SSOP’s are being followed.
- Provide guidance and input to employees regarding product specifications and quality issues.
- Monitor Positive Release Program for compliance.
- Perform quality inspections on raw or finished products at set frequency to ensure products are within specifications.
- Conduct specified testing, checks, swabbing, formulations, and calibrations.
- Monitor and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices with employees.
- Stop production when test results or checks deviate from expected results.
- Monitor quality systems documentation for completeness and compliance.
- Cover weekend production shifts
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor.
- Follow all prescribed SOPs, HACCP, and GMP procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Read, write, and communicate (English)
- Completion of quality assurance related courses or have relevant QA experience
- 3 years’ experience in a food manufacturing preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to work effectively both as an individual and a team member
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Must have good organizational skills
