An opportunity to join Border Paving Ltd. in an entry level position on a full time year round basis is available for the right person who is mechanically inclined, self motivated with good attention to detail and a great attitude. Must be physically fit and able to perform labour related tasks for extended periods of time. A valid Class 5 license is the minimum class required for this position

Job Overview and Responsibilities
- Provide general assistance around the shop, including administrative and technical tasks
- Participate and maintain detailed records of serviced equipment
- Clean and maintain equipment as directed
- Maintenance and repair of shop equipment and tools
- Occasional operation of some heavy equipment (forklifts, rollers, skid steers, etc.)
- Transport or deliver components and equipment as directed
- Maintain wash bays and associated equipment
- Yard upkeep and maintenance
- Custodial duties
- Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May - November)
- Comply with safe working procedures and practices
- Other duties as required
