**Join Our Team as a Maintenance Mechanic for CNC Machinery**

Are you passionate about maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC production equipment? Look no further Palcam Technologies in Newmarket, ON is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our CNC machinery, including lathes and 5 axis milling centers from top manufacturers like DMG, Star, Whacheon, and Citizen.

**Job Summary**:
As a Maintenance Mechanic at Palcam Technologies, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Your responsibilities will include providing scheduled repairs, preparing machinery for production runs, and ensuring the optimal performance of CNC machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machine, and Machining Centers
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
- Utilize technical documents and internal resources to research and address machine issues
- Identify and replace parts as necessary, completing testing and adjustments as needed
- Perform planned and preventative maintenance procedures with a sense of urgency
- Ability to read and interpret part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, and assembly instructions
- Demonstrate proficiency in industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant trade certificates
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with CNC machine design and operation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and commitment to safety
