Supplier Quality Analyst

The Supplier Quality Analyst will oversee and execute all activities and responsibilities relating to the Supplier Management Program.

Ensure that materials and other items that impact food safety as well as Service Providers adhere to and are aligned with Agropur and other regulations, guidelines, and quality standards.

The key role is to support internal business (sourcing, procurement, marketing, legal, technical service) and external partners (distributors, suppliers) to better serve the needs of the organization, to offer its expertise, and to ensure regulatory compliance with the requirements of agencies and certification bodies.

**1. Supplier qualification of all Agropur materials**
- Program
- Conduct the supplier and material qualifications for ingredients, packaging, service providers or other items that impact food safety to include review of supply chain documentation, conducting a risk assessment and evaluation of supplier performance.
- Analysis the supply chain documentation like Third Party Audits with Corrective Action Plan, Allergens, Country of Origin and Specifications to ensure materials adhere to Agropur expectation.
- Maintain supply chain documentation in electronic systems (TraceGains) to evaluate/validate data.
- Monitoring
- Proactively maintain supply chain system by continuously building and improving tools and resources in electronic systems (i.e., TraceGains) housing Supplier Quality and Regulatory documentation.
- Identify gaps or potential risks and recommend possible actions.
- Support
- Provide support to distributors/suppliers to understand Agropur expectation and communicate performance.
- Provide technical support to Suppliers and Agropur plants on the supplier and material qualification determination process.
- Ensure knowledge is transferred across the organization.

**2. Support and conduct training on Agropur Supplier Management Program**
- Program
- Facilitate and collaborate with sourcing, quality, and operations to evaluate supplier information based on risk assessments and performance.
- Assist facilities with documentation follow-up if ingredient specification is invalid or missing information.
- Develop and conduct training on the supplier management program including TraceGains.
- Collaborate with sourcing and operations with evaluation of supplier performance (CARs).
- Monitoring
- Improve Agropur Quality and Food Safety programs through continuous evaluation.
- Support
- Supports categories in assessing the risk of certain decisions for the targeted brands but also for Agropur's reputation.
- Ensure knowledge is transferred across the organization.

**3. Supplier Audits**
- Program
- Conduct supplier audits as needed in collaboration with the Supplier Quality Manager.
- Monitoring
- Monitors Supplier Qualification Audit Compliance status
- Assess regulatory gap and potential risks, recommend mitigation plan and monitors progress.
- Monitor CAPA implementation
- Support
- Provide guidance and training on auditing.
- Ensure knowledge is transferred across the organization.

**Job Requirements**:

- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or other science related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- 5 years in Quality and/or Operations in Agri-food.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, and field-specific software.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving, decision making, and root cause analysis skills are required.
