**Summary**

Back to Function Rehab and Wellness Centre is currently seeking for an Exercise Therapist / PTA for a clinic located in **Bradford**. You will collaborate with our outstanding health care team and utilize your expertise to help clients overcome their physical, and cognitive constrains. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent health care and looking to further advance in this field. You must be passionate about the work we do and share our organizational values.

As a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team, the Exercises/ Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) will collaborate in the provision of therapeutic services. The Therapist Assistant will practice under the guidance and direction of a qualified Chiropractor and/or Registered Physiotherapist.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the supervising Chiropractor or Physiotherapist in performing various components of the treatment plans for patients in the clinic setting.
- Deliver dynamic, safe and therapeutically beneficial exercise classes for 1:1 interventions or groups of patients.
- Set up and prepare equipment and clean up after patients’ treatments.
- Ensure that the therapy gym and treatment areas are safe and tidy.
- Maintain regular ongoing communication with the Chiropractor or Registered Physiotherapist regarding any changes or concerns about a patient’s status or treatment interventions.

**Requirements**:

- Completed an OTA/PTA Diploma.
- Minimum 1-year experience working.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, lifting and transferring using proper/safe body mechanics.

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

- Bradford, ON L3Z 1H7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
