The Supply Planner contributes to the success of the Tropicana Brands Group by assisting with the management of supply chain processes and projects.
The Supply Planner is challenged with the daily task of analyzing Finished Goods (FG) inventory levels based on current sales trajectories, future demand plan and market research.
The Supply Planner works closely with the Operations teams in US and Canada to secure the timely availability of regular products and new launches.
The Supply Planner is responsible for managing other daily tasks as they relate to inventory planning. These tasks could include production planning coordination, data entry into ERP systems and planning tools, logistics tasks, and communications with the key counterparts (sales, marketing, customer service, demand planning, and finance teams).
The Supply Planner is the key role that ensures product is always ready for customer orders. He/she helps maximize company profitability by minimizing out-of-stocks and write-offs amount.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Deliver an optimize cross-site manufacturing supply plan
- Efficiently manage distribution of product inventory, including shipment tracking and warehouse communications
- Capture data, conduct analysis and develop recommendations for solutions for inbound logistics, transportation, and distribution activities within the network
- Continuously improve supply planning techniques, method and approach. Responsible for parameter set up and maintenance in different planning tools and systems
- Interact with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance teams to understand forecast drivers and closely communicate supply changes to Operations
- Make recommended adjustments to supply based on changes in demand and market trends
- Coordinate the sites production schedule alignment in order to maintain the target stock holding of all SKU's within the network
- Analyzes and helps resolve supply-related obstacles and product supply issues
- Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver supply chain objectives
- Develops and maintains planning tools and reports
- Creates and maintains innovation project timelines, supports NPD launches & phase in/phase out changes by ensuring supply planning systems are set up in advance

- At least 3 years of supply chain planning experience
- Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business, but other areas welcomed as long as business knowledge can be demonstrated.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to interrogate data and produce detailed outputs
- Understanding the links between production plans, plant AOP's, productivity initiatives and customer service
- Should possess strong communication / facilitation skills to build and sustain a wide range of working relationships across multiple functions/sites, being flexible in their approach to achieve the collective aims
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP system, preferably SAP, is strongly desired
- High proficiency with MS Office products particularly MS Excel (pivot tables & macros) and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Tactical and strategically thinking
