Our training programs are also a leader in the security industry, and they will help prepare you for advancements, as well as build your resume for a potential career in law enforcement.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Implement security measures to protect property, patrol assigned areas to monitor activities and ensure client rules and regulations are followed.
- Conduct foot patrols throughout South Building.
- CCTV monitoring.
- Maintain professionalism, confidence, and confidentiality especially during interactions with students, staff and faculty.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide response to emergencies on site following directions outlined in site post orders.
- Operating the site fire panel bypass system.
- Participate in emergency simulations.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- ** This position may **not** be held by a current or perspective Lambton College student.**:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Professional demeanor and deportment
- Strong attention to detail with high focus on accuracy
- Computer skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work safely and in compliance with site safety, health and environmental standards and practices
- Ability to read and understand established post orders and follow direction from Site Supervisor and Manager

- Immunization Record
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
