**About Joriki**

Joriki is an innovative food and beverage company. We have been servicing the food and beverage contract packaging needs of North America for over 20 years. We have three world class food production facilities, 15 state of the art production lines and the latest technology in blending, filling, and packaging equipment. Key processes include UHT, HTST, Steam injection and Aseptic Homogenization. Plant equipment includes Aseptic PET filling, ESL Carton filling, ESL PET Filling, Tetra Aseptic filling and in-line PET bottle blow molding.

This role will report directly to both the Plant Manager and the VP of Manufacturing while working closely with the Production Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
- University/ College Degree/ Diploma or equivalent experience
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, processing, and production

**Essentials Functions**

**1) **Coordinating with the production lines the daily posted production schedule

**2) **Management of the Production Team / Plant Personnel - during the shift changes, lunch, and snack breaks
- Ensuring the new team members are assigned to the right position according to their skill level
- Coordinating the training / nurturing the new team members and signing off on the training / learning process
- Disciplining when necessary and ensure a good flow of the entire plant operation throughout the shift

**3) **Assigns production tasks to team members taking account of production needs and individual capabilities (such as cleaning during unplanned breakdowns)

**4) **Collects Data and Compiles Reports about production

i. Downtime Reports

**5) **Ensures all documentation necessary for regulatory compliance is completed accurately

**6) **Conduct reviews of the production processes to try to identify areas for improvements

**7) **Ensure production processes are being carried out in line with company and regulatory requirements

**8) **Ensures production team has access to all relevant raw materials and equipment - ensure the smooth running of production

9) Ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum

10) Ensuring the Temp Personnel and the regular employees are managed according to the current posted Shift Schedule & Production Schedule

**12) **The ideal person has worked on the floor, has a technical background, has worked in a food operation, and can connect with team members to motivate them.

**13) **Good computer skills but will spend 1-2 hours a day in front of a computer.

**14) **The main objective is to deliver on production schedule, to drive productivity improvements and to own the shift and be always present on the floor.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Running DDS (Daily Directional Setting) meetings
- Review work assignments with staff
- Re-assign staff when lines are down / format change over
- Coaching staff through issues
- Lead CIP, change overs, resolve issues, eliminate roadblocks, and support the plant floor
- **Follow all key operating procedures, including but not limited to**:

- Company and facility Policies including safety and quality
- SOPs - Methods for performing work
- SSOP/Good Housekeeping standards
- Good Manufacturing Practices
- Food/Safety Security
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
- Food Regulatory and Customer Specifications

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
