**Location**: Laval, QC, Canada

**Job Description**:
SES & technologies ltd. seeks the services of a Technical Writer, for full-time employment.

The technical writer must be able to explain the scientific and technical ideas related to the products and services provided by SES and work with a team of researchers, engineers and programmers by creating, editing, and publishing the following documents:
User guides, How-To and Instruction manuals

Online help files

Technical brochures

Online documentation and pamphlets

Website marketing material and Newsletters

Frequently asked questions (FAQs) and reference manuals

Additionally, the Technical Writer will contribute to the layout and design of the above documents.

**Requirements**:
Excellent English written skills

Excellent communication skills

Very good knowledge of English due to documentation and communications with customers who are about 95% outside Quebec

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Additional Qualifications and Skills of Interest

**The following would be considered significant assets**:
Knowledge of authoring tools (e.g., Madcap Flare & Adobe RoboHelp)

Bachelor of Engineering degree or comparable educational and professional background

Familiarity with electrical concepts

At least one year of experience in technical writing

Knowledge of languages besides English and French, particularly, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese.
