Overnight Security

**Role Overview**:
Dymon Storage provides Guests with secure 24/7 access to their suites. The Overnight Security and Valet Associate is responsible for providing courteous valet area assistance and maintaining overall cleanliness of the facility while promoting our services to all Guests.

**Shift Information: This position will work on a shift rotation to accommodate a 24/7 operation.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Open doors and assist Guests entering and leaving the drive through area.
- Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic in the drive through area including Guest vehicles, moving trucks, commercial vehicles to ensure vehicles are properly parked and to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of traffic.
- Supply Guests with directions and information regarding DYMON amenities, services, and hours of operation, and ancillary services.
- Monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of drive through areas, and report any vehicles and safety hazards, unauthorized personnel, or potential security problems to the Concierge Manager, Operations.
- Communicate parking procedures to Guests and visitors.
- Follow all policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Concierge Manager, Operations.
- Welcome and acknowledge all Guests according to company standards; anticipate and address Guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Adhering to safety protocols for the drive through and advocating for safety among Guests and visitors.
- Completes the daily checklist to ensure cleanliness of the facility.
- Cleaning the floors, washrooms, elevators, & doors.
- Using the Scrubber on all floors and the bay.
- Keeping a record of who entered the facility outside store hours to ensure safety of guest's goods.
- Maintaining the cleaning supplies room and cleaning the empty suites overnight.
- Removing Garbage.
- Making sure nobody sleeps in their storage suites, Nobody smokes inside facility.
- No individual including guests can use Dymon parking over nights [For guests unless they are using the storage, cannot use as a nightly parking lot].
- Helping guests with access for example - many times people leave their phones inside the suite and close the suite.
- Responding to help button calls at night.
- Other duties assigned by management.

**You will bring**:

- Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be able to schedule and prioritize work for self.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills
- High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.

**Physical Demands & Environment**:

- Physical ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Must be available to work overnight shifts
