Sagkeeng Child and Family Services is looking for mature, reliable and competent Casual Support Workers, Agency Drivers, and Respite Workers to provide support services for our Children and Families, both in and out the Community. RESPONSIBILITIES - Safe and timely transport of children or families to and from visits/appointments - Supervision of family visits, ensuring all are safe - Provide support to children in care, families and foster parents - Detailed note writing and documentation EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - Minimum completion of high school; or a combination of education and related experience may be considered REQUIREMENTS - Valid Class 5 Driver’s license for at least 1 (one) year - Driver’s Abstract will be requested, full access to a safe and insured vehicle; with a minimum of $2,000,000 liability - Satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry and Prior Contact check - Active cellular phone SPECIAL SKILLS - Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to write short or detailed contact notes - Valid First Aid and CPR Certification preferred
