Tube Bending Machine Operator

**Job description**
- Set up bending machines i.e setting up correct dies and supporting tools for bending, adjusting pressures, make adjustments to controls
- Operate tube bending machines to bend various metal tubes, pipes, solid bars, flat bars etc. to the given specifications as per drawings
- Check bent parts to drawing specifications and tolerances using proper measuring and inspection equipment
- Inspect end product from bending operation to ensure accuracy is maintained
- Complete all required paperwork in a correct and timely manner
- Experience using belt sanders, grinders, drill machines
- Operate cutting saws to cut raw material (Tubes, Pipes, Flat bars etc)
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
- Perform other assigned duties as required

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Must be a Permanent resident or Canadian citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent/some college
- Machining/welding experience will be an asset
- Must be willing to learn
- Ability to read tape measures and drawings
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Effective and professional communication skills-verbal and written
- Detailed oriented and ability to multitask
- Time management skills

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
