Custodian

Convoy Technologies Canada Ltd., a top supplier of cameras, displays and sensor systems, is committed to the safety of those who work in and around commercial vehicles. We are currently launching a brand-new assembly operation in Windsor, Ontario and are seeking a **Custodian** for **full-time**, **day shift** positions. The Custodian works within our environmentally controlled “clean space” to ensure cleanliness is maintained in our light assembly operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained on the plant floor, in the clean space, in shipping and receiving, the employee locker room, lunch room, stairway and washrooms
- Operate floor cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean operational work cells to minimize dust and debris, adhering to 5S standards
- Sanitize washroom facilities utilizing cleaning solutions according to instructions
- Ensure washroom facilities are stocked with adequate supplies
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and washroom supplies
- Follow Electrostatic Discharge Control procedures and clean space procedures
- Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement activities to optimize cleanliness
- Follow safety protocols; report any safety hazards or concerns

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- Prior custodian experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
- High attention to detail
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work constructively as part of a team
- Organized and thorough
- Ability to comply with health and safety rules and regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
