Your role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent- Five (5) years’ journalism experience or equivalent
Skills:
- Extensive general knowledge- In-depth knowledge of regional current events and issues- Solid command of French- Excellent knowledge of the other official language is an asset- In-depth knowledge of logistics in a TV, radio and digital newsroom- Very good knowledge of storytelling techniques specific to each platform- Knowledge of production techniques- Proven leadership skills along with an excellent ability to engage people and manage change- Ability to plan, organize and co-ordinate the day-to-day work of reporters so as to meet tight deadlines; ability to work well under pressure- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide constructive feedback-
- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices- Valid driver’s licence- Theory test related to the role- French test- Interview
