Host/hostess

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences and group sizes
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu items, and promotions
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper table setup
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized lobby area

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Ability to work well within a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 03 - 40 per week
