About the Role:
DUMAK is looking for passionate and driven individual to join our Marketing team as our Marketing Generalist. This individual will support the Marketing Director, playing a key role in developing the department with strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience with blogs, social media are required. Experience with whitepapers or webinars is considered an asset.
-  Content Creation + Management: Review, approve (and sometimes create) content for digital and print marketing. This includes graphics, documents, and copywriting.
- Must be familiar with brand best practices and have experience with or an eye for basic graphic design using platforms such as Canva. Experience as a copywriter not required but writing and communication skills and understanding of compelling copy is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years with content creation such as social media posts, blogs, and other B2B content.
-  Site Maintenance + Support:  Responsible for making occasional changes or uploads to our website including copy, photos, blogs, downloads. This includes but is not limited to; updating plug-ins, ensuring the site is regularly reviewed and maintained, search engine optimization, creating landing pages, working with contractors for some of this work on an as needed basis.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with SEO/SEM, website maintenance and basic understanding of landing page design.
-  Analytics:  Reviewing analytics for social media platforms (mainly LinkedIn) and our website, presenting reports and noticing trends so we can pinpoint areas of success or opportunities for growth.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in reviewing marketing analytics.

- Collaborative team player who can work in conjunction with various departments.
- Organized and able to meet deadlines on your own. Able to schedule and plan effectively.
- Passionate about marketing - both the creative and analytics side.
- Adaptable to change and able to manage multiple different tasks.

Qualifications:

- 2 to 4 years of experience in a marketing role with some familiarity around strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related field.
- Access to appropriate work from home space for the hours required.
- Ability to travel and work from office space in HRM 1-2 days per month as required.

Work details:
, Permanent, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Location: Halifax Regional Municipality (or surrounding area). Remote position with occasional hybrid work.
- Salary:  Starting at $50,000.00 per year depending on education and experience.
- Languages:  English (French is an asset)
