Burnham Optical is seeking a results driven, self-motivated Optician to join our busy clinic. Our office offers a personalized patient care experience and we pride ourselves on the efficiency and quality of the services provided.

As a dispensing optician, you'll need to:

- interpret optical prescriptions written by Optometrist including our in-house Optometrist
- give advice to patients on lens type, frames and styling
- complete contact lens fittings to patients
- take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning
- advise patients when adjustments or repairs to spectacles are needed
- select, manage and order a range of optical products
- order lenses from prescription houses and check lenses that they meet required specifications
- demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills and sales techniques

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
