Vaughan, Canada Playtopia Kids Indoor Playground Full time

Playtopia is seeking for an individual to perform custodial duties as required to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all areas of the facility and washrooms.

**Please note that the position requires Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday availability**

**Responsibilities**:

- Empties, cleans, and lines waste containers and disposes of trash
- Washes doors, windows, walls, baseboards, and light fixtures
- Safely cleans and mops spills
- Cleans and disinfects restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures and mirrors
- Restocks restroom supplies as necessary
- Completes weekly inventory of janitorial supplies
- Reports the need for maintenance and repair
- Observes safe working practices, including maintaining storage areas in a safe condition
- Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards
- Safely operates a variety of custodian tools, equipment and supplies
- Performs related duties as required or assigned
- Assist with customer traffic on busy days

**Requirements**:

- Must have knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment and the acceptable usage of supplies
- Passion for working with children
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable team player
- Prior experience in janitorial or caretaking work preferred.
- Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job.
- Must possess a basic understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and WHMIS legislation
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal background check
- Standard First aid/ CPR level C Certification preferred

**We are looking to hire part time and full-time individuals **who are willing to work Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday - flexible schedule.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability
