Muskoka Cabinet Company is hiring a Full-time Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the cabinet assembly process efficiently, ensuring that the production meets quality standards, safety regulations, and deadlines. Supervising and leading a team of assemblers as well as motivating the team to reach their goals ensuring a defect-free final outcome.

**The Role**:
- $25 - $30 / hour depending on experience.
- Full health benefit program after successful completion of the 6 months probationary period.
- Paid sick days available after a 6-month probation period.
- Profit Sharing Program available after successful completion of 3 months full time.
- Full Time in person work on site in Alfred, ON.
- On-site training for this position.
- Start date - ASAP.
**Responsibilities and duties**:
- Overseeing the assembly process to ensure timely and efficient production of products.
- Optimizing workflow and resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Ensuring that all assembled products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
- Implementing quality control measures to identify and address any defects or deviations from standards.
- Creating a welcoming environment for both new and seasoned employees within the team.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and motivation skills to elevate the team to new heights.
- Implementing cross-training initiatives to enhance the skills of team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Staying focused on organizational goals and devising strategies to achieve them.
- Promoting profit-sharing initiatives to incentivize team members and align their efforts with organizational success.
- Efficiently managing the assembly department, balancing managerial responsibilities with hands-on work.
- Ensuring that all operational activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration within the assembly team and with other departments.
- Acting as a liaison between frontline employees and upper management to convey feedback address concerns, and implement improvements.
- Individuals with the following traits, skills and experiences should apply:
- 3 or more years of Leadership experience.
- Problem solving skills to quickly address production challenges.
- Able to deal effectively with production
- Ensures accuracy and quality in processes.
- Bilingual in English & French.
- English speaking, reading, and writing is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Manages workflows and priorities efficiently.
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Ability to work & lead in a team environment & individually.
- Experience with woodworking equipment would be desirable but not essential.
