- Loves business development, marketing and client acquisition
- Is client-centered, and put clients’ interests first
- Has solid experience and understanding of financial planning and/or investment management
- Is a keen problem-solver
- Has built a successful financial planning or investment practice, and wants to collaborate with a team who has complementary skills
- Exhibits strong written and verbal communication
- Supports an investment strategy that focuses on globally diversified asset allocation, using ETFs and F-class mutual funds
- Is passionate about providing objective, integrated, holistic advice, to help clients achieve financial security in keeping with their goals, values and attitudes
- Patient, approachable, supportive, with a positive attitude
- Analytical, and pays close attention to detail
- Able to build strong, lasting relationships with high net worth clients
- Able to work independently, and in a team environment
- Capable of meeting deadlines and juggling priorities

Educational Requirements:

- A university degree
- Canadian Securities Course.
- Conduct & Practices Handbook Course
- Must be registered with Securities Regulator in Ontario
- Must be a member of Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC)
- CFP, CFA, CIM or similar designation
**Experience**:

- A minimum of 10 years full-time industry experience as a financial advisor
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience
- Demonstrated success in attracting clients and building deeper relationships
- Minimum assets under management of $50,000,000
- In-depth knowledge of cashflow management techniques, risk management, planning for retirement, retirement income planning, income tax, investment and portfolio management, and estate planning
- Demonstrated success in guiding clients towards their goals
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
