Automotive Service Advisor

**Key responsibilities**

**Service Advisor duties and responsibilities**
- Welcoming customers and discussing their vehicle needs
- Exceptional listening skills, asking technical questions to help communicate to the technician the details of the customers concerns’
- Prepare repair orders by detailing the vehicle’s problems or symptoms
- In-detail customer vehicle check, walk around inspections
- Knowledge and basic understanding of automotive vehicles
- Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs
- Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone; booking appointments for the customers vehicles within a timely and efficient manor in coordinate to vehicle appointment scheduling with the appropriate technicians
- Knowledge of OEM factory warranties applicable per vehicle
- Develop repair estimates by taking the cost of materials, supplies, and labor into consideration
- Connecting customers repairs to the right auto technician within our team dispatch
- Maintaining automotive records by keeping track of problems and corrective actions

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Hinton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- service advisor: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
