**Job Title**:Production Planner

**Location**: Pickering, ON

**Work Hours**:Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

**Compensation** Range**:$60,000 - $75,000

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Manager, Planning & Projects, the Production Planner is responsible for orchestrating and optimizing the production scheduling process to ensure seamless operations and on-time delivery. This role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring production workflows while managing the formulation and infusion planning processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the production schedule
- Manage formulation and infusion planning process and troubleshoot as needed
- Lead production stand up meetings with team, to ensure alignment of efforts to realize on time delivery against commitments and customer contracts.
- Communicating expected availability and real-time delays to stakeholders while providing mitigation recommendations
- Analyzing production resource requirements and available resources to ensure production schedules are feasible
- Supporting the identification and analysis of bottlenecks by comparing plan and actual production performance, provide recommendations of proper corrective actions
- Coordinating with cross functional teams (Sales, Manufacturing and QA) to schedule production activities
- Fostering strong relationships with our customers, by providing schedule commitments and progress updates
- Carry out the appropriate transactions in order to meet the raw material needs according to the tracking system to avoid any out of stock
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to learn Cannabis products and processes
- Highly analytical and quantitative thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Receptive to coaching and adaptive to change
- Exceptional time management and follow-up skills

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, project management or related fields
- At least 3 years' experience in Supply Chain, Project Management or related field, preferably in the Cannabis Industry
- Experience in project management preferred
- Experience in Cannabis Manufacturing, or other regulated environment is considered an asset
- Must be willing to undergo a background check _in accordance with_ local laws and regulations._ Must be legally entitled to work in Canada._
