Novascape is a Unionized (Local 183) Commercial Landscape company located in Woodbridge/Vaughan area. The ideal hire will have experience in completing commercial jobs that include excavation, planting, pavers, retaining walls, grading(soil and aggregate) and outdoor furniture installation. We are looking for a foreman who has the ability to problem solve, communicate effectively, lead/motivate, support staff and develop working relationships within our company and the companies that we work alongside. **Responsibilities**:

- Foreman must be physically fit and able to work long days outdoors while supervising a landscaping, construction team.
- 2 - 5 years’ experience as a foreman supervising a team and experience in construction landscaping.
- Driver’s License with clean abstract.
- Foreman must have ability to drive pickup truck. (Provided by the Company)
- Foreman must be able to manage crews of 3 to 6 people.
- Commercial and high-rise institutions landscaping construction.
- Minimal of a “G” driver's licence.
- Manage Material & Equipment requirements on day to day basis & co-ordinate with field superintendent.
- Fill out daily log books and keep track of delivery packing slips & paperwork.

Strong knowledge of the following:

- Laser Level & Site Layout
- Read blue prints & Specifications
- Able to operate Skid Steer, Excavator & Rubber tire loader
- All aspects of Landscape (Softscape & Hardscape)
- Must have keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task & organize
- Ability to take direction & guidance as required from Operations Manager
- Eager to learn
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- People person & excellent time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate members of crew

**Please Note this isn’t a Landscaping Maintenance/Gardening position**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
