Our main area of operation is in Victoria. We have a client who lives in an institution that needs services 2-3 times a week. Also, we are expecting to increase the number of our clients in Duncan. We are trying to recruit someone who would be willing to help us grow our services in Duncan.

Introduction
- Osanis Counselling and Consulting Inc. is a small CARF accredited social services organization. We are seeking a front-line mental health worker or community support worker to join our team and work with adults with complex psychosocial and behavioral needs who are eligible to receive CLBC funded services.

Clients Information
- All our clients experience various degrees of limitations with adaptive behavior function skills. Some of these clients live with a wide range of mental health disorders.
- All clients are ambulatory, and no personal care assistance is needed.
- Some of these clients may be involved with the justice system.
- Most of these clients live in some type of assisted living housing and fewer with their families. Some of our clients live temporarily in shelters or are homeless.

Hourly Rate
- The starting wage is $25.89 per hour and the top wage is $30.46 per hour after completing our internal process [4161 hours].
- Employees who work Saturdays and Sundays earn 25 cents more per hour.
- There is a $750.00 signing bonus for new employees to be paid out via their payroll after completing 1,040 hours of continuous employment. This amount is taxable as other earnings.
- There is an increased from the starting wage to the top wage that is based on commitment to the organization (accumulated hours).
- We do not offer benefits. The hourly wage includes a percentage in lieu of benefits.
- Everyone has the same starting wage and, afterwards, regular wage regardless of applicant/employee academic education and/or work experience.

Workers Vehicles
- Workers need to have a vehicle. Use of your own vehicle is a condition for employment. Workers need their own vehicle to transport clients to and from preapproved destinations. Only clients who are approved can access workers’ vehicles.
- Workers receive 50 cents per kilometer. Due to gas prices, we have temporarily increased to 80 cents per kilometer.
- A worker can drive between 15 and 30 kilometers per full workday.

Services Information
- This position focuses on providing one-to-one or two-to-one psychosocial support in all areas of daily living tasks, such as personal errands, household chores, recreational activities like going for coffee or walks, as well as with problem-solving, planning and pursuing personal/academic/vocational goals.
- Each employee has their own caseload depending on availability, skills, and personal preferences.
- We provide services seven days a week, including statutory holidays.
- Our clients’ services tend to start as early as 9-10 am and end as late as 4-5 pm. We do not provide late evening or overnight services.
- On Saturdays and Sundays, our services run from 930 am to 330 pm.
- The work schedule for statutory holidays is the same as the weekends.
- Each client has their own set of hours of service per week. The work schedule is under the sole control of management, which means that only management can amend the work schedule.
- Each client has their own budgets for expenses as part of their service. Each client has their own budgets for use of workers’ vehicles with a set number of kilometers. Osanis does not provide petty cash to workers. Instead, workers need to finance their expenses and mileage with their own funds. Osanis reimburses workers once a month for their expenses and mileage. Workers are required to produce a proper receipt for each expense and to submit the mileage for each trip.

Employees Work Schedule
- We are a good employment opportunity for those who wish to work part time because they have another job, have busy personal lives, or attend an educational institution. Also, we are good employment opportunity for those who would like to work full-time hours.
- We offer part-time and full-time employment opportunities. The minimum hours per week are four and the maximum hours available per week is 40.
- For those applicants who are interested in full-time hours, they must be willing to start part-time with one or two days a week. The transition from part-time to full-time takes place gradually and its length depends on the applicant’s ability to demonstrate suitability for the job.
- We are very flexible and accommodating to employees’ availability. Our scheduling system allows employees to work the days and times of their choice that are mutually beneficial to the organization and employee.
- Osanis accepts as a minimum availability to work a minimum of 4 hours. Workers are required to book their desired shifts ahead of time.
- Workers have a regular schedule. A regular schedule means that the worker is available on the same day(s) and time(s) every week. For example, Mondays from 10 a
