**Job Summary**
**Kingston General Hospital is a located centrally between Ottawa and Toronto. Come become situated in a beautiful, affordable neighborhood which sits on the water. The Patient Food Services Supervisor is fulltime, offering 3 weeks of vacation and health benefits from start**

**How you will make an impact**:
You will be responsible for assisting the Manager in providing supervision and training to all staff in Patient Food Services.
**As a Patient Food Services Supervisor, you will**:
- Supervise the daily operations of the Patient Food Services Department, including meal service to patients and ware washing
- Continually monitoring day to day operations by supervising staff and ensuring meal service standards meets CGC’s and industry expectations.
- Monitor patient satisfaction through daily auditing of meal service
- Responsible for any daily staff replacements/coverage in an unionized environment
- Ensure strict compliance with Compass’ Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Program, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations
**About you**:
- You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- CSNM is preferred
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supervising a diverse team in healthcare environment
- Comprehensive health and safety knowledge and training
- Strong supervisory skills and the capability to motivate and lead staff
- Employee relations experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
