**Job Title**: Fibre Processor

**Job location**: 1736 Church Street, Port Williams NS

**Compensation**:$16.00 per hour

**Hours**: Part-time, 24 hours per week

**Start Date**: Immediately

The TapRoot Fibre Lab was created and is now designing and building machines to make processing flax on a local scale possible. We have the machines set up at the Fibre Shed in Port Williams, where we are processing fibre. The operator would be working at the Fibre Shed using the processing equipment.

**Job Duties**
- Processing fibre using TapRoot Fibre Lab processing equipment
- Problem solve when issues arise with equipment, training provided
- Carry out machine optimization
- Ensure machines are running properly
- Manage the flow of production
- Follow safety expectations including the wearing of a respirator during working hours
- Keep space clean and organized
- Any other tasks as required

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
