Calibration Technician

**Overview**

Santec Canada is looking to add a Calibration Technician to the team. The purpose of this position is to ensure that troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations are performed according to quality standards.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform calibration services for Santec meters and meters from other manufacturers. This includes visual and incoming inspections, repairs and documentation of work performed.
- Adhere to all procedures as outlined in the organizations Quality Management System to contribute to the overall maintenance and improvement of the Calibration Laboratory
- Inspect new and incoming units to ensure quality prior to shipping
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

**Position Requirements**
- College diploma in photonics, optics, or a related field with coursework in instrumentation
- Technical knowledge of fiberoptics, operating systems, electronic hardware and diagnostics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
