I am a master carpenter doing window and door installation for 16 years. I do Contracting installation for a large company called Canadian Choice Windows and Doors Monday to Friday.

Available is a opportunity to work 1 on 1 as an apprentice installer.

You must be:

- Over 18 and eligibile to work in Canada
- Responsible, punctual and mature individual
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Have your own transportation or be able to arrive at location you can be picked up at a set time.
- Work well in a team and execute instructions in correct and proper procedure
- Must not have a phobia of climbing ladders
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to diffrent tasks
- Have your own safety shoes. Safety glasses and gloves are provided along with masks if needed.
- Must be availabe to work Monday through Friday.

Basic job tasks include:

- Taking old windows/doors out
- helping carry and install new windows/doors
- preparing work site
- Bringing and putting away tools
- Cleaning up the job site
- Keeping the work truck organized
- Doing trim work and finishing carpentry
- Using a aluminium brake machine to create flashing

It is a bonus if you have experience with window and door installation or have done carpentry work.

One of the benefits of the job is being paid weekly every Friday. The wage will be agreed upon based on your skill level. You would be WSIB insured. You would have your weekends off.
