Our Company is currently seeking a self-motivated, proactive Indigenous Relations Manager to join our team

**Responsibilities**: The Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

- Proactively scan the market for best practices and trends in Indigenous Relations in our industry.
- Coordinate with the marketing and proposal teams to develop and maintain consistent content in Indigenous Relations participation, procurement and socioeconomic plans that are included in submissions and proposals to clients.
- Maintain, build and nurture positive business relationships with key communities and their leadership and businesses to strategize and explore potential opportunities for business collaboration.
- Represent MCW at appropriate industry and community functions to build and maintain positive business relationships.
- Provide management support and advice on Indigenous Relations engagement and opportunities which may include:

- Participating in client meetings to promote MCW’s strategies
- Identifying, tracking, and monitoring opportunities, concerns, and interests
- Developing solutions and strategies, as appropriate
- Build ongoing communication strategies along with our marketing team to build awareness around Indigenous Relations.

**Qualifications, Experience and Education**:

- A minimum of 5-10 years related job experience with indigenous relations focus
- University or College education preferred
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage, inspire and influence the mindset of others.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Indigenous Relations, leading practices, policies, processes and evaluation tools.
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships built upon trust and respect.
- Self-starter, taking initiative and responsibility for decisions.
- Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Proven track record with leading initiatives from conceptualization to implementation.
- Verbal competency in an Indigenous language is an asset.
