**Department: Medically Complex Services**

**Site: St. Joseph's Hospital**

**Shifts: Days/Nights including weekends (12 hour rotation)**

**Rate of Pay: $30.86 - $31.26**
**per hour***

**Qualifications**:

- Current Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Current CPR and BCLS
- Working in expanded scope of practice
- Clinical knowledge and comfortable working within a busy environment with numerous trachs, central lines and wounds
- Competent to administer medications and treatments
- Comfortable working with complex dressings
- Expertise working with respiratory clients and associated task (suctioning, performing tracheotomy care)
- If not already working with PICC lines, prepared to receive training and work with PICC lines within one month of hire
- Catheterization, Trach suctioning, Wound/skin courses would be an asset and/or commitment to complete
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
