Trillium Care Communities is a retirement home operator dedicated to the care and wellbeing of residents. We are currently seeking Personal Support Workers on a full-time and part-time basis (Shifts Days, Evenings, Nights) for a 25-bed retirement home in Norwich, ON.
The Personal Support Worker provides personal care and services to each resident under the direction and supervision of the Nursing Operations Manager.
The role of the PSW includes but is not limited to performing personal care and services that promote the comfort and safety of the residents under the direction of the Nursing Operations Manager. Observes and promptly reports changes in a resident’s physical and emotional condition. Review any changes in each clients personalized plan of care. Complete documentation according to established policies. Follows daily, weekly, and monthly routines for each residents individualized plan of care and assist each resident per their plan of care. Reports nutrition-related concerns to the Nursing Operations Manager. Being courteously with residents, resident’s families, and visitors. Assists in maintaining a tidy and clean environment.
**Qualifications**
Must have the ability to speak, read and write English, and to follow oral and written directions. Must be able to work independently, according to established procedures/policies, and to work as a member of a group. Includes lifting, pushing/pulling, and stretching/reaching on a regular basis throughout the shift.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

**Education**:
