Job Responsibilities:

- Operate a Garbage or Recycle truck as a single loader/operator.
- Responsible for various residential curbside pickups - garbage, yard waste, organics, and recycling.
- Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Provide friendly, reliable service, and complete assigned daily routes.
- Perform repetitive lifting (up to 50lbs) into the hopper from the ground.
- Collect and deliver waste to local transfer stations and landfills.

**Requirements**:

- Must reside in any of the cities listed: Kitchener, Waterloo, Woodstock, Brantford, Guelph, or Cambridge.
- Previous DZ or AZ driving; no newly licensed drivers.
- DZ license, CVOR, and Drivers Abstract.
- Previous experience in the waste industry is advantageous.
- Physical fitness for repetitive lifting (up to 50lbs).
- Ability to drive and load efficiently.
- Adaptability to work in various weather conditions.

**Salary**: Up to $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week

**Experience**:

- Garbage truck operating: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- 2 years old DZ License (required)

Work Location: On the road
