**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and engage children through lessons, scheduled activities, and daily routines (lunch, arrival/dismissal).
- Maintain discipline during each activity.
- Create fun and educational learning experiences that promote knowledge discovery, skill development, and physical activity.
- Be aware of camper dietary/medical needs.
- Supervise assigned children, always ensuring the safety and wellbeing of participants.
- Establish a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment while developing a good rapport with children.
- Attend all training sessions and regular meetings.
- Keep accurate records, incident reports, and report immediately to the camp administrator.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills and Knowledge**:

- High energy, self-starter.
- Experience and/or desire to work with children/youth in an educational setting.
- Excellent people skills and a friendly, responsible, service-oriented attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to problem solve effectively.
- Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is an asset.

**Other Qualifications**:

- Valid driver’s license is an asset. Must be able to provide own transportation to multiple camp locations across the RM (Ste-Agathe, St-Adolphe, Grande Pointe, Ile des Chenes).
- Criminal records check with vulnerable sector check. (Ritchot Rec will provide funding for successful applicants.)
- Experience with children in a camp or educational setting preferred.
- Must be fluent in English; French is an asset.
