**About us**
Specialty niche remanufacturing company in Canada. Operating in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba and the Maritimes, has 150 plus employees across 4 remanufacturing centers and 3 distribution centers. We service the service and supply providers to most Class 5 and higher vehicle equipment dealers and repair facilities for both on and off highway.
**The Position**
If you are driven by results, love a challenge and are experienced in managing large or multiple sites as a Controller then this position is the place for you to make a difference.
The Controller heads the accounting aspect of the business thus controlling all financial aspects of our operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, monthly financial reporting, day to day duties and a focus on improving or bettering procedures. Provide advice to department managers and senior management for financial and related business aspects of the operation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manages the revenue collection, remittance system to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulations.
- Coordinates annual budget process. Manages and accounts for expenditures and disbursements within the scope of established budgetary cost control processes and company policies.
- Ensures integrity of inventory records, costs and sales consumption.
- Completes and provides accurate monthly and year-end financial reporting packages to Corporate Accounting, directors and shareholders.
- Institutes and maintains local accounting controls, a system of internal checks, and effective on-site document and systems storage to ensure confidentiality and orderly filing.
- Advises senior management and department managers on financial aspects of the operation and performs related required administration functions.
- Using excellent organizational and leadership skills manages the performance and development of direct reports.
- Coordination of IT requirements with outside service providers
- Periodic report to financial institutions
- Coordination of annual review by external accountants
**What You’ll Require**
- Experience as a Controller in a medium sized manufacturing organization and/or equivalent combination of related education and experience of 3 to 5 years.
- CPA, required
- Expert knowledge of accounting and financial theories, practices, tax, and applicable legislation
- Excellent analytical skills to perform budget, trend, ratio and cost/benefit analyses
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
**Salary**: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
