we are looking to fill the role of **Equipment** **Shop Supervisor**at 4154 McGillivray Blvd.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day Heavy and light Truck & Trailer fleet operation (not be responsible for the heavy equipment fleet)
- Audit and approve vendor invoices
- Approve PO numbers in real time
- Confirming work orders vs warranty work
- Confirm and track outsourced repair work
- Vendor part negotiations
- Support with offsite repairs by assistance in sourcing vendors at the most economical manner
- Warranty follow up
- Supervise and provide leadership to all shop employees to effectively meet company goals and objectives
- Manage resources within his/her area of responsibility to ensure staffing and equipment levels match business activity levels
- Look for new ways to continually improve operations through focused efforts
- Work with the shop foreman to drive continuous improvement
- Supervisory skills, including the ability to manage staff, maintenance, work schedules, station assignments, and training
- Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointed by management

**Qualifications**
- 5 or more years’ experience in a leadership position in the Truck / Heavy truck industry is a benefit
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organization skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timelines and responsiveness
- Ability to lead and manage a busy team environment
- Knowledge of construction equipment
- Strong verbal and effective written communication skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic computer skills
- Spectrum knowledge would be considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license (no bus access)
