The Opportunity:
In this role, you will:
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of low voltage systems across the data center, including telecoms, security systems, internet infrastructure, and electrical door hardware.
- Oversee and coordinate the planning and execution of low voltage installations, ensuring strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Act as the key technical lead for low voltage systems, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise on-site.
- Manage and supervise teams to ensure the successful delivery of all low voltage systems within the data center, maintaining close collaboration with other disciplines and contractors.
- Ensure that all systems are fully operational upon handover, meeting client specifications and industry standards.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including system specifications, installation plans, and maintenance schedules.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, ensuring any variations or issues are clearly communicated to the team and clients.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience working with low voltage systems, such as telecoms, security systems, internet infrastructure, and electrical door hardware on large-scale projects, particularly data centers.
- Hold a Degree or comparable experience in low voltage, telecom, or electrical systems disciplines.
- Have a proven track record in managing and delivering low voltage systems for large, complex construction projects.
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Have strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Are comfortable with short-term travel to meet with clients, partners, and on-site teams as required.
- Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and are passionate about delivering high-quality results.
