Tuya Construction Ltd. is a civil construction company located in Chilliwack, BC., who is currently looking for a skilled labourer. 

**Job description** 

The following are some of, but not limited to, the job requirements, abilities and understandings:  
- Experience in a civil construction environment.
- Must have valid drivers licence and reliable transportation.
- Be able to complete tasks independently and without supervision.
- Operate and maintain small tools and equipment.
- Handle materials and transport them on job sites.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Maintain job site cleanliness which may include sweeping, shoveling, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste.
- Strong work ethic a requirement. 
- Strong written and verbal communication 
- Ability to follow instructions and be adaptable to take on new responsibilities as needed.
- Provide labour support as needed.
- Work safely around heavy construction equipment.
- Must have safety boots, gloves etc.

**Physical Demands**: 

The physical demands for this job are as follows: 
- Lift and carry materials up to 50lbs 
- Stand or walk for long periods of time. 
- Extensive shoveling and raking 
- Bending and crouching for extended periods of time 
- Climbing in and out of trenches 
- Climbing on ladders 
- Work in extreme temperatures 

**Work Environment**: 

The following work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the job holder will encounter 
- Work outdoors in all season 
- Work around heavy equipment 
- Work near traffic 
- Exposure to loud noises 

**Compensation & Benefits** 
- $24 - $28 / per hour
- Wage will be based on knowledge, skill and experience 
- Extended benefits after a 3 month period

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Chilliwack, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
