**Personal Lines Underwriting and Administrative Support Specialist**

We are seeking an Underwriting Specialist to provide support to the Personal Lines Brokers with post placement policy issuance of new business, endorsements, and cancellations in the applicable carrier portal system(s). This position requires a strong understanding of our major markets from an underwriting, product knowledge and system perspective. This individual will have a strong attention to detail to ensure business in bound in adherence with company guidelines.

**We will count on you to**:
- Ensure timely and accurate underwriting and issuance of new business within carrier timelines
- Ensure timely and accurate underwriting and issuance of endorsements and cancellations
- Review incoming requests from brokers for accuracy and completeness of documentation to ensure broker binding authority is maintained
- Ability to update client files and carrier systems in a proficient and accurate manner
- Ability to handle increased volumes of work during our peak periods
- Ability to document client files in a thorough manner
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and business objectives
- Manage and prioritize own workload to meet individual SLA, KPI and Quality targets.
- Maintain a strong technical understanding of all major classes of Insurance and specialist services that the Company offers to its customers
- Maintain a solid understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation
- Work with Senior Operations Services Executive and Operations Services Leader to identify continuous improvement opportunities within operational processes
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- General servicing skills and professional etiquette
- Continue to develop skills & knowledge by seeking out opportunities for growth
- Maintain an adaptable and flexible approach to the work environment
- Build, maintain and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Marsh business and Insurance practices
- Take ownership of personal development and behaviors, proactively improving knowledge and skills
- Align personal behaviors to Marsh IGNITE Principles
- Share best practice and knowledge across Marsh Operations teams and stakeholders
- Adhere strictly to the Company's Quality practices and other systems and procedures

**What you need to have**:
- College/university degree or equivalent work experience
- RIBO license
- Working towards CAIB or CIP considered an asset
- 3+ years’ work experience in personal lines insurance
- Relevant industry practice or Line of Business experience
- Experience working with Insurance Carrier Portal Systems
- Experience with The Agency Manager (TAM) considered an asset
