LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the timely shipping and receiving of all goods and materials including picking, moving, sorting, put away materials in the warehouse and manufacturing floor in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SHIPPING/RECEIVING:
- Shipping & Receiving of all goods in accordance with our Quality Management System-SPO’s (Standard Operating Procedures); including receiving of goods, shipping of goods, inspection of goods, equipment packaging, lot number tracking; MSDS provisions, carrier relations and arrangements and all related documentation.
- Shipping processed and tracked thru our ERP system and maintained on the Shipping & Receiving log.
- Receiving processed and tracked thru our ERP system and maintained on the Shipping & Receiving log.
- Communicating issues or concerns to the appropriate department representatives and the Sr Quality/Regulatory Affairs Specialist relating to damages, shortages of goods as they are received.
- Documentation of all non-conformances of parts “as received” following our QMS Procedures and the EQMS system.
- Ensure all procedures and policies pertaining to Shipping, Receiving, Safety and Quality in regards to the duties of Shipping and Receiving are followed at all times.
- Maintain the shipping receiving area in a clean and organized fashion at all times.
MATERIAL HANDLING:
- Picking parts based on pick lists.
- Segragate parts by work order number.
- Check off parts on pick list.
- Sort small parts into seperate container.
- Sort large parts onto pallets.
- Inform Materials Planner and or Matarials Manager of discrepancies.
- Move picked work order part to manufacturing floor and inform Shop Foreman.
- Sign pick list and give paper work to the Inventor Material Specialist and or designate.
- Perform inventor cycle counting to assure inventror is acruate in the ERP system.
- Put away received parts into inventory and or bring place them on manufacturing floor is the work order has been picked. Inform Shop Foreman and or designate
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties when required.
- Ensure all procedures and policies pertaining to shipping, receiving, safety and quality in regards to the duties of Shipping and Receiving are followed at all times.
- Maintain the inventory area in a clean and organized fashion at all times.
- As duties permit assist Materials Management in the performance of inventory parts, cycle counting, quarterly and annual full inventory counts.
INVENTORY CONTROL:
- As duties permit assist the Supply Chain in the performance of inventory parts, cycle counting, quarterly and annual full inventory counts.
- Processing requirements for all work orders/bill of materials
- Maintain the inventory area in a clean organized fashion at all times
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 document and record requirements.
- Knowledge of Material Handling and tracking procedures and method.
- Strong computer abilities: Word processing, Excel, ERP.
- Efficient and ability to manage time.
- Ability to meet work schedule and as per deadline.
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks.
- Ability to work with colleagues and departments on a professional manner.
- Ability to properly operate all equipment, machinery and tools used in the Shipping/Receiving, Inventory and Quality Inspection (as required).
- Ability to learn new tools and techniques of inspection of equipment parts
- Forklift licensed (can be trained)
- Hazmat/SDS knowledge
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
