**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced roofer to join our team. The ideal person will have experience in installing, repairing, and protecting various types of roofing systems, including shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofs. This role requires physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

**Responsibilities**
- **Roof Installation**: Install roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, metal panels, and other types, according to building codes and manufacturer specifications
- **Roof Repair and Maintenance**: Diagnose roofing issues, replace damaged areas, and ensure water-tight sealing
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to WorkSafe BC, and company safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment
- **Inspection**: Conduct roof inspections and provide accurate assessments of roof condition
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate tools and machinery safely, such as nail guns, hammers, and ladders
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: preferred, with knowledge of various roofing materials and techniques
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work at heights
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong ability to spot problems and ensure quality workmanship
- **Driver’s License**: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
