**Role**:
- The Design Draftsperson Inspection - Electrical carries out the planning, conception and execution of drawings, and performs inspection of electrical construction works to ensure conformance with contracts, drawings, specifications and regulations, in order to meet operational requirements and to provide for long term reliability of the infrastructure and equipment.**Responsibilities**:
- Create, maintain and verify drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology, ensuring quality of content and conformance with standards and regulations.
- Produce detailed designs for structures, systems & equipment, including performing calculations, material specifications, and design briefs.
- Inspect and oversee electrical construction work to ensure technical compliance, conformance with contracts, specifications, adjustments, regulations and site & equipment safety.
- Act as a liaison between internal and external services, including contractors.

**Experience and knowledge**:
- Minimum of six (6) years experience in the design of computer-assisted electrical drawings and the inspection of electrical construction work.- Experience and knowledge with CAD technology (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of drawing techniques, design, inspection, and framework/structure construction.
- Knowledge of the applicable rules, regulations, standards, procedures and safe work practices with respect to performing duties.**Education**:
- College Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field
**Certifications**:
- Eligible for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) or l'Ordre des technologues professionnels du Québec.

Pay Grade : O&M 7
Salary range:$CAN41.15/hour (min) to $CAN43.74/hour (max)
