**Position Overview**:
We are hiring a Facilities Cleaning and Maintenance Technician to help ensure our 7 self-storage locations within HRM remain clean, presentable, and in excellent working condition. This role is primarily focused on facility cleaning and upkeep (inside & out), with some light maintenance and seasonal duties (lawn maintenance & snow removal).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily and routine cleaning of facility interiors, including floors, hallways, offices, washrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct exterior cleaning tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, washing, etc.
- Handle seasonal duties including snow removal, salting, and lawn care.
- Complete minor maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., replacing lightbulbs, minor plumbing fixes, patching walls).
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- 1+ year experience in a janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning role preferred.
- Snow removal/lawn maintenance experience considered an asset.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Positive attitude and commitment to work.
- Basic handy-person knowledge considered an asset.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
