Our Materials group is looking for an Asphalt Plant Groundman to support the daily operations of our plant, ensuring equipment is maintained, safety protocols are followed, and production runs smoothly. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to contribute to a collaborative team.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITES**
- Respond to situations involving plant equipment and its operation, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Conduct daily Pre-Job Assessment meetings to review planned equipment usage and plant activities.
- Maintain equipment and report any defects in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with QC staff to provide samples from production.
- Maintain the yard around stockpiles as required.
- Ensure completion of Safety Talks, Equipment Checks, Tailgates, Daily/Weekly Plant Maintenance, and adherence to all policies and procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to work long days, evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety policies and procedures.
- Strong work ethic and competence in job responsibilities.
- Mechanical inclination with a solid understanding of plant equipment operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to operate other equipment as required.
