**Job title**: Customer Service Representative

**Remote work**: This position may have the possibility to be done remotely. This would be determined as the position progresses.

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks.

**Tasks, duties and responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assist them with order pick-up or placing orders
- Provide product consultation and direction to customers
- Work with other CSRs in their service approach and delivery to ensure a consistent and pleasant experience for all of BGE’s customers
- Work with customers to determine if they are a fit for adopting the BGE e-Commerce platform
- Take the opportunity to enlist our residential customer walk-ins to join BGE’s Clean Air Club for future orders
- Log sales processed, price and delivery quotes
- Receive orders and ensure that the orders are processed in a timely manner, coordinating with warehouse personnel as required
- Communicate with customers regarding order status and questions
- Assist other branches remotely or in person as needed, may require occasional overnight travel
- Monitor and follow-up with appropriate department regarding delayed orders
- Regularly monitor product holding bins to ensure all customers have been notified and ensure nothing is missing from the order
- Contact Purchasing for price and delivery on non-stock or special order items
- Advise sales team of issues or potential problems with their respective accounts
- Complete all Return Goods Authorization report and forward to Invoicing
- Accurately enter orders
- Process cash sales/walk-ins and run cash out reports/deposit at the end of day
- Originate the Bag & Tag as required by customer orders
- Liaise with various departments for pricing and delivery of product
- Keep customer service area organized and tidy at all times
- Cross train to assist or fill for other positions as needed
- Update customer contact information and filter lists
- Ensure all delivery of freight charges are billed out or charged against the customer’s sales order
- Order inventory for items stocked for specific customer in addition to media rolls required in stock as per shipping departments
- Other duties as assigned

**Physical requirements**: Standing; walking; bending; dusty environments; exposure to extreme temperatures, heights, noise and lifting up to 23kg (50lbs)

- Proficiency with computers and MS Office.

**Other requirements**:

- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
- Must be willing to travel to other BGE branches
- Possess valid class 5 driver license with driver abstract that meets BGE requirements
