**Internal Medicine Physician - The Ottawa Gastrointestinal Institute**

Ottawa Gastrointestinal Institute (OGI) is a multi-specialty clinic located in Ottawa, Ontario.

OGI is currently the largest out of hospital GI service provider in Eastern Ontario.

Established in 2014 by four physicians who recognized the need for timely access for patient care, OGI has quickly grown into a large team of Gastroenterologists, Surgeons, Internists, Anesthetists, administrators, nurses, and sterilization technicians.
- The facility is fully accredited and adheres to strict guidelines set out by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
- OGI is currently seeking **permanent part time and full time** General Internists to provide virtual pre-procedural assessment for patients with semi-complex medical diseases (ASA II - ASA III) and for management of medications prior to procedure.

Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, all pre-procedural consultations are currently being conducted virtually. Remote access to EMR, VoIP, and dictation will be provided. _**(Currently transitioning back to in-person consultations)**_

**Requirements**:

- **Active and unrestricted license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario**
