**Job Summary**
The
**Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker** is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Director of Care and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

**Job Summary**
The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outing
- Medication Assist/ Reminders
- Ambulation and transfer of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting

**Qualifications**
- Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
- COVID & Flu shot current
- Current vaccinations
