**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional food service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. You will be responsible for preparing food items, assisting with customer orders, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and practices at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the POS system for processing transactions and handling cash.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Perform basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing inventory.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with cashiering duties is a plus, including experience with POS systems.

Pay: $16.55-$26.70 per hour
