**What Will You Do?**
- Understand Erb operations, freight flows and targets, and how they relate to the Thunder Bay terminal.
- Make decisions in accordance to business needs and requirements with assistance of the Terminal Manager.
- Ensure “Safety First/Customer First” attitude is maintained at all times.
- Oversee the safe operation of dock equipment, forklifts, batteries, hand jacks, radios, dock plates, and dock doors.
- Maintain and implement HACCP requirements in conjunction with the Terminal Manager.
- Manage and support coverage for vacation and sudden absences for Dispatch and Data Entry with assistance from Terminal Manager.
- Work with the other terminals and departments to consistently improve freight flow and communication.
- Monitor and create measurements to determine productivity and accountability with assistance from supervisors.
- Understand and provide support to manage terminal operations during shift.
- Respond to performance management and personnel issues and assist with performance evaluations in conjunction department supervisors.
- Ensure complete training process is followed for all new employees on shift.
- Maintain employee timecards and attendance records according to company policy.
- Investigate and report all accidents and work with WSIB Coordinator regarding all aspects of WSIB.
- All other duties as required

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- AZ license require
- Solid understanding of routing, OS&D, dock, yard procedures, in addition to paper flow as it relates to the operations
- Strong time management and organizational skills including planning and scheduling.
- Ability to work under pressure and provide effective support and leadership.
- Previous dispatch and operational background required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to provide constructive feedback and recognition.
- Quality decision making skills and ability to use good judgment required.
- Ability to support operational positions as needed.
