We are looking for a talented, hard-working **Short Form Content Creator & Coordinator** to join our team If you have a passion for social media, content creation, AND enjoy being surrounded with trending online multimedia content, then this is the internship for you This position will allow you to learn from our team and Social Media Manager, be creative and create fun, compelling, and engaging content.

This position would begin as a 4-6 month full-time paid internship, with the possibility of becoming a permanent full-time position. You will be required to be in-studio in west Toronto, and/or on-location for projects Monday to Friday, 9AM-5PM, with occasional days working remotely/from home.

**In this role you will be**

**Concepting (15%)**
- Work alongside the Social Media Manager on content creation from idea generation to analysing analytics and past performance
- Ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and YouTube Shorts based on DIYs and Design projects lead by the Talent and Production teams as well as content based around trends
- Participate and engage in meetings with our strategic partner managers on social platforms

**Filming and Photography (30%)**
- Be in-studio and on-location to photograph process and final shots of DIY and design projects
- Be in-studio and on-location to capture vertical video for short form content that is both planned and spontaneous
- Capture daily “story” content for Instagram and Snapchat

**Editing (50%)**
- Editing vertical video for TikTok, Youtube Shorts, and Instagram Reels using Adobe Rush or Adobe Premiere
- Editing archival horizontal footage/ photography for new TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels using Adobe Rush or Adobe Premiere

**Engagement (5%)**
- Engage on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat by replying to comments, duets, and tags
- Overall moderation and post creation on Discord server

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Is available to be in-studio full-time (Toronto)
- Has experience creating social media content (personally or professionally)
- Has a strong interest in design and DIY
- Has an interest in digital media culture and humour (YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat etc)
- Has initiative to implement new strategies
- Knows how to convert social media trends into views
- Has intermediate knowledge of Adobe Rush and Adobe Premiere
- Has intermediate photography skills
- Has an eye for aesthetic and well-lit video creation
- Prior knowledge or experience with our content is a bonus
- Isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty or jump in to help at a moment’s notice
- Enjoys bringing new ideas to the table
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines
- Can work well independently and in a collaborative team setting

$2950-3750/month
