Landform Inc. is a landscape construction company established in 2003 that services Calgary and the surrounding area. We offer Landscape Construction and Landscape Maintenance - creating and maintaining meaningful spaces such as parks, playgrounds, and restoration projects. In the winter we continue to support communities by offering Snow Removal services.

The **Snow Removal Hand Crew Member** will report to their Foreman supervisor. Crews will meet each day on a snow removal site (Calgary and surrounding areas) or at the Landform yard as determined by their supervisor. You will be responsible for being properly dressed for working in the current weather conditions, including having your own CSA approved boots and gloves. Other PPE will be provided by Landform.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events
- Remove snow manually &/or operating snow removal equipment such as snow shovels, scrapers, leaf blowers, snow blowers and other hand tools
- Sweeping or blowing walkways clear of snow and ice
- Work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials
- Work with early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays
- Recordkeeping of work completed at each site including times, services performed and equipment maintenance, and submit paperwork and documentation promptly at the end of each shift

**Who You Are**:

- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
- Be willing to listen, learn, follow direction and accept constructive criticism from crew leader
- Safely work around heavy equipment
- Ability to perform highly physical work outdoors on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy, snowy weather
- Great time management skills; available for seasonal long hours, a clear schedule to work all hours of the day, any day of the week and a strong work ethic
- Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations
- Physical dexterity to handle prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, or walking.
- Enjoy being and working outdoors.
- Have your own transportation to and from sites.
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset.
- Reliable vehicle to get to site.

You must be available to work on-call, 24/7 for the duration of your contract. **Hours will vary depending on the weather and work environments.** We look forward to hearing from you

**Please note that once you are hired for this position, successful performance on this seasonal contract will lead to a full-time position as Landscape Maintenance Crew **starting in spring 2025.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
